As the last post was over six months ago, an explanation is in order. Jack’s been more than usually busy with car crime cases and his friends, Jim and Amy, have also been more than fully occupied on various fronts, both fiction writing and otherwise. But we’re back, as Arnie would say, and the blog will be getting weekly, if not daily attention from now on!
The big news is that there will be a new Jack Colby story out in May, 2015 in the UK and in the USA in September. The title is ‘Classic in the Dock’, published by Severn House, and it features two star cars, a gorgeous 1937 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B and an equally gorgeous 1972 Ferrari Daytona Spyder (see pictures above). The intriguing story (thank you, Amy) centres on the adventures (or in this case some misadventures!) of Jack’s Italian friend, the classic car artist Giovanni.
I’ll be telling you more about the new story as we get closer to publication and also about other classic car-related events now that Spring is in the air and that means classic cars back on the roads and in shows. Plus there’s trips to two famous classic car museums in the works!
More soon is our promise!
