Jack’s on track!

Have a look at the February 2013 issue of The Automobile, in which Jack’s latest case, Classic in the Clouds, gets a thumbs-up from David Burgess-Wise, the renowned motoring historian and translator. He’s the historian for the De Dion Bouton club, and – if you haven’t yet read it – you’ll see that De Dion Boutons figure prominently in the novel, as Jack is set the seemingly impossible task of tracking down one of the two De Dions that took place in the 1907 Peking to Paris challenge – and finds himself caught up with a recreation of it through today’s Kentish towns and villages. And what a splendid motoring magazine The Automobile is.
