I bought that car from Jim Bruckner @ Cars of Stars and Planes of Fame I drove it for a few months and then sold it to my ex brother in law for $10,000 dollars I believe he still owns it ! email me and I will give you his name the car was a 1947 lincoln cont.

Donna, I love trains (most of the time) because you get such interesting views as you travel. Being stuck for hours is the downside, and it only ever seems to happen when you’re in a tearing hurry and have forgotten your mobile phone or else there isn’t a signal! But I think Aurelia’s to trains would have been the same as to a “horseless carriage”. it still surprises me that an organised and inventive culture like the Romans never produced an industrial revolution.

Aurelia, I loved your comments. I totally agree. When I travel across England on a train (ask Jane to explain that to you) I always want it to slow down so I can relax and enjoy the scenery. It never happens, (except the time we got stuck on a siderail for hours) but you’re right that speed isn’t everything.

But what about Genevieve? I don’t know whether the skulduggery between the rival racers counts as crime, but it was a fun film, and even a car-ignoramus like me thought she was a great car.
